Free or Reduced Price Meal Applications

Free or reduced-price school meals may be available for St. Paul Public Schools families experiencing financial hardship, even if that hardship is temporary. A household of four with a weekly income of $755 or less may qualify. Families who receive Food Stamps, MFIP, WIC or FDPIR benefits also may qualify. If an application for Free and Reduced meals has not been submitted yet for this school year, families can call 651-603-4950.

In August, an application is mailed to every household in the district.

If you do not receive an application or if you are new to the district, use the Application for Educational Benefits available by calling (651) 603-4950 to have one mailed to you or you can pick one up at your child's school.  Applications for  foster children or children residing in a residential institution can also be obtained by calling or stopping by. We cannot approve an application that is not complete, so be sure to fill out all required information.

To provide the best service to the families of our students, we process these applications by computer.  To speed the processing, please print neatly using a black pen and stay within the boxes provided.
